I completed my Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India in 2014 and later obtained Master of Public Health from Western Sydney University in 2021.

 

I have several years of experience working as a general dentist and am currently working as a dental assistant while continuing my professional journey in Australia. My educational background combines clinical dentistry with public health, providing me with a broader understanding of healthcare and the unique challenges faced by rural and regional communities. My public health studies have given me valuable insight into improving access to healthcare and supporting community wellbeing in regional areas.

 

My areas of interest include periodontal (gum) health and preventive dentistry. I enjoy helping patients understand how to maintain good oral health and prevent dental problems.

 

Originally I am from India, I have called Australia home for several years. I first lived in Sydney, followed by Melbourne, and now reside in Ceduna, South Australia.

 

I enjoy working in dentistry because I love helping people and being part of a team that improves patients' oral health and wellbeing. I especially enjoy supporting anxious patients and helping them feel comfortable and relaxed during their visit. Seeing a patient leave with a smile and a positive experience is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. I am passionate about providing a welcoming environment and supporting both patients and the dental team to deliver the best possible care.

 

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends. I especially love visiting coastal destinations and spending time by the beach.
